This is a heavy-duty 10 ft extension cord with NEMA 14-50 connectors suitable for electric vehicle charging.
For added versatility, the plug has been specially designed to fit three different types of outlets: NEMA 14-30, 14-50, and 14-60.
The cord is made with 6 AWG copper wire, supporting up to 50 amps.
The connectors at both ends feature convenient 3-finger handles making it much safer and easier to plug in and unplug.
This cable has been designed for EV charging so it has only power and ground connections - there is no neutral wire, which is perfect for electric vehicle charging but will NOT work for RVs or for other applications requiring neutral. (The neutral wire carries a 120V circuit which is used by appliances in RVs, but electric vehicles only use the 240V circuit.)
Despite the heavy duty construction and high power capacity, this cord weighs only 5½ lbs.
