So we're pleased to offer a fix for this issue! Introducing our new 12V DC regulator. Simply plug it in to your 12V socket and then plug in any 12V accessory. Our regulator will automatically monitor and adjust the output voltage to a precise 13.8V DC, which is the typical voltage of a standard 12V lead-acid battery and the voltage that DC accessories are designed to accept. For maximum efficiency, we use a DC-DC buck/boost converter, which can accept a wide input voltage range from 8V up to 40V.
