This gives you greater convenience and reduces wear on the electrical outlet from repeated plugging in and unplugging. The only precaution is you should be careful to avoid charging your car and using your dryer at the same time – you can only safely use one or the other but not both. This splitter has a NEMA 10-30 plug on one end branching out to two NEMA 10-30 outlets, with one of the cords being 3 ft long but the other is 20 ft long.
