This portable EV charger can plug into NEMA 6-20 240V outlets and standard 120V wall outlets (adapter is included), and it is adjustable so you can set the rate that works best for you - for example, if you're sharing a circuit with other appliances you can easily lower the current. You can also plug into virtually any type of outlet using one of our optional adapters (enter "6-20R" into the search box to view compatible adapters). Tapping on the display cycles through the available power levels: 8, 10, 13, and 16 amps. The charger also has an optional time delay function which can be activated by double-tapping on the display. This is useful if you want to begin charging a few hours after plugging in, to take advantage of lower off-peak energy rates. This kit includes a nice zippered carrying bag which you can keep it inside when it's in your car. This charger is equally at home on the road and, well, at your home. Cable length is about 25 feet.
