This adapter fits dryer outlets installed after 1997. We now offer two variants of this adapter – you can choose whichever you prefer. The corded version is made with 10 gauge cable rated for 30 amps. The compact version is also rated for 30A. Great for any application where you need to plug in to a NEMA 14-30 outlet – RVs, EVs, etc. (just make sure you won’t need to draw more than 30 amps). The adapter fits a NEMA 14-30 outlet and converts it to a NEMA 14-50 receptacle so you can simply plug in your appliance. The adapter has been specially designed to be safe and easy to plug in and unplug. The NEMA 14-30 is commonly used for electric clothes dryers, while the NEMA 14-50 is commonly used for electric ranges and is also commonly found at RV parks.
